Pamela Fraser - President

Pamela has been with Kennedy Insurance Brokers since 2016. She believes her previous 4 years as a Financial and Insurance Manager selling credit insurance and aftermarket products in the automobile industry were an ideal foundation for her work as a Life insurance Advisor.


Attention to detail, good listening skills and great empathy are symbols of her appreciation by her clients. She is effectively supported by a team of professionals that help her build long-term relationships with her growing client base and provide excellent customer service.


Pamela is happily married and has three lovely daughters and one son. Away from the business, she enjoys hunting, fishing and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Marla Tremblay - Vice President

Marla is the owner and President of Markey Consulting. A bilingual certified Economic Developer, she has over 20 years of experience in community, economic and business development and has worked closely with public and private sector stakeholders on a variety of initiatives. Well versed on the issues facing northern Ontario, Marla has been directly involved in developing and implementing strategies and solutions to help grow and strengthen businesses and communities in the north.


Several initiatives that Marla has spearheaded have been recognized at the regional, provincial and national level resulting in a variety of awards, including the 2010 Newcomer Champion Award, the 2011 OTMP Tourism Partnership award, the 2006, 2015 and 2018 Economic Developers Association of Canada Marketing Award, the Northern Ontario Business’ Innovative Community Award in both 2011 and 2016, and most recently, the 2019 Tourism Innovator’s Award for marketing. Selected as one of 2017’s Five Northern Leaders by Northern Ontario Business, Marla, a proud mother of three, serves as a volunteer on several local, regional, and provincial boards and committees.

Joanne Vallière - Past President

Joanne and her husband Dan Vallière are owners of the Audio Video Plus Home Furnishings store on King Street in Sturgeon Falls. They enjoy participating in various community initiatives and encourage other businesses to do so as well.


Joanne has been involved with the Chamber of Commerce for nearly 20 years! During her time with the Chamber, she has acted as President, Vice President and a Director. Joanne knows that Covid-19 has impacted the Chambers operations but is confident that the Chamber will continue to do great things to support its members and the entire community!

Sylvain Bilodeau - Treasurer

Originally from Welland, Ontario, Sylvain started his career with the Caisse at the Timmins branch in 1996. He continued working at the branch until 2002. He relocated to the Caisse Alliance in Verner, where he currently works in personal lending and wealth management.


Sylvain has four daughters and four grandchildren who he loves spending time with. During his time off, he also enjoys playing hockey and snowmobiling in the winter months and spending time on the water during the summer.


Sylvain joined the West Nipissing Chamber of Commerce 4 years ago as a way of networking and getting more involved in his community. He has been our Treasurer for the past two years and has been a great asset to the Chamber.

Stuart Seville - Board Member

Stuart and his partner Gayle Primeau moved to Sturgeon Falls in 2016. Since his arrival, Stuart has invested a lot in commercial and residential properties in the West Nipissing area. He and Gayle are part of the Beautification Committee responsible for many of the beautiful murals and banners displayed throughout the town. Stuart also serves as the vice-chair for the West Nipissing Food Bank and Economic Development Committee.



Stuart joined the West Nipissing Chamber in 2017 as a board executive. He is passionate about helping small businesses and the community as a whole. He recently spearheaded the revival of the Sturgeon Falls Waterfront Reclamation Project. The goal of this project is to reclaim waterfront property in the West Nipissing area and redevelop it to meet the needs of our growing community. Some of the properties planned for this redevelopment include the old mill lands, the upper beach on Main Street, and the Dutrisac waterfront property.

Marcy Lemieux - Board Member

Originally from Sudbury, Marcy has spent the last 20 years in St Charles. She is a proud mother of two, and also has two step-children and two beautiful grandsons. During her time away from the office, Marcy loves to spend her time outdoors or reading. She enjoys camping, kayaking, and going for ATV rides.


Marcy is the Regional Manager for the Sturgeon Falls branch of Caisse Populaire Alliance. She has been with the Caisse since 1987, originally starting as a teller. Marcy moved through the ranks of Caisse Alliance allowing her to develop skills and knowledge in finance and human resources. In 2016, Marcy began working at the Caisse branch in Sturgeon Falls as the Regional Manager.

Marcy’s professional experience and education make her a valuable member of the West Nipissing Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the Board of The West Nipissing General Hospital. Marcy understands the role and impact the Chamber has on the local economy and is eager to bring her skills to our Board.

Pat Keough - Board Member

Pat joined the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2013. During his time on the board, he has served as President, Vice-President and an Executive. Pat is the Office Manager for Larry Lennon Electrical and before taking this role, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces.


Married with two children who he loves spending time with. He also enjoys hunting, boating and coaching swimming when he is out of the office.


Always wanting to be involved in his community, Pat also serves on the Economic Development Board. He joined the Chamber of Commerce to ensure the community remains viable and active!

Adam Royer - Board Member

Adam Royer was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. He joined the Royal Canadian Airforce in 2009, which has allowed him to see many parts of the world while serving our country. In 2013, while posted to CFB North Bay, he met his wife Kimberly. A year later, they got married and bought Twiggs Coffee Roasters, which brought them to West Nipissing, where they currently reside. Kim and Adam support many local charities, and Adam joined the Chamber of Commerce as a Director in 2019. Adam is an advocate for young adults in business. They recently welcomed their first child into the world in June 2020.

Daniel Chènier - Board Member

Daniel Chénier lives in Sturgeon Falls with his wife and three children. He was born and raised in Northern Ontario and loves the lifestyle the North affords him. Daniel is a pharmacist and owner of Sturgeon Falls Life Care Pharmacy. Both in his work and through the Chamber of Commerce, Daniel is committed to improving the services and quality of life available to residents of West Nipissing.
